Spammed!

I've been getting a lot of spam lately on the comments section of this blog.  Usually Google catches it.  Usually it has some sales attached to it.  Usually there is a reason for it.  What the heck is this though?
"I be enduring be familiar with a insufficient of the articles on your website in the present circumstances, and I extremely like your fashionableness of blogging. I added it to my favorites net stage list and will be checking back soon. Will repress out my put as highly and leave to me be acquainted with what you think. Thanks. "

Sounds like something that was written in another language first and put through a translator after. So far so good for me, touch wood. Hugs and sparkles - WG

It's adaptive posting software. Basically you spam as many blogs as possible with as many word patterns as possible to see which are most likely to get through. Then you go back with your advertisements and use a similar pattern to spam the crap out of people while not getting caught by the filters.

I get similar rubbish too - and the usual penis enlargements and escort girls.

Sorry, that read funny the last time...Let's try again.

Stuff like that is why I set comment moderation on any post that is 3+ days old. Most of the spam I get in that vein shows up on year+ old posts. Actually though, come to think of it, since I changed to a new URL I don't really have this issue anymore. Hmmm...

Much better :-)

You know I've been getting a tremendous amount of spam, too...even on my poetry blog where I used to never get any. And most of it is sex spam...and most directed to the same post which is not sex related, weird, huh?

I thought the same as Witchy Godmother. My father occasionally puts my English text into a translator and it always comes out very weird, since they don't look at the context, they just translate the words.

Did I ever say that ostrich at the top is always looking funny at me. I think he has it in for me...

I get that kind of spam too. What I find funny is that some of the images I've posted are what shows as the post the "comment" is on. Yeah, the junk mail cartoon was extremely beautifully written, and so was the picture of the lawn chair. They really loved those "posts".
